Author Message   Herb28 Posted on Friday, November 26, 2010 - 07:04 am:        New to Buells and am planning on racing a 2009 XB12 in WERA next year and want to install clip ons. Found that the front forks were changed in 05. Do any top clamps from 05 up fit the 09 forks? Does the 1125 top clamp fit? The bike i have has a Penske length adjustable shock. What is the stock shock length as a starting point? Thanks!   Terrys1980 Posted on Friday, November 26, 2010 - 07:26 am:        Most XB's especially pre-'05 had 43mm shock tubes. The 1125's are 47mm. (Message edited by terrys1980 on November 26, 2010)   Deanh8 Posted on Thursday, March 31, 2011 - 04:51 pm:        I had no problems putting 1125R forks and trees on my XB. 1125 Tops can be forced onto XB forks but the center bore is off and you will be bending the forks. Best bet is to do the 47mm 1125R forks and trees.
