I got a Corbin for my 04ZX10R and didn't have it on very long. It is big and very firm, but to top that off, it is HEAVY. Fairly comfortable seating, but I found the seating surface to be way to slippery for my liking as well. I was sliding all over the place on it. |

Anybody have input on the Corbin? I had a Corbin on my R. I didn't like it and sold it. In my opinion the Corbin us great for touring, but bad for sport type riding. It's a ridged seat that has a concave seat pan. This creates ridges on the sides that cause problems shifting your weight or hanging off the bike. |

Well after talking to Loren,I dont see how customer support could get any better. After talking to him I have an order in for both the rider set and passenger done with the Gel insert. He has been more than helpful with the ordering. I plan on doing a full write-up on them once I get them,So stay tuned. |

I had the Buell Custom seat on my bikes for about 10k miles. I did like the look & the texture of the seat but there was an issue. When taking trips I would start to feel the seat pan after about 50 miles & I needed relief. I now have a Seat Concepts seat and I'm very happy with it. It is firmer than the Buell seat but actually more comfortable. I kept the Custom Seat until I was sure that I was satisfied then I sold it on Ebay. The really good part is I actually made money on the deal. |

If you need a higher seating position then might help a saddler. My seat is now ~ 1.25 "higher, the seating position is much better. Grüße aus Ostfriesland Hans |
