That's a cool gathering of bikes! Great, Bob. Just a hand-off at SPLASH would probably be easiest. Deb had made an offer for a Buell T-shirt when we were in Portland together, so if you've got baggage capacity for both, I'll wait. (I was hitting the limiter keeping up to Jim on his new RC51. When I'm just with other Buells and Triumphs, 5200rpm should be enough.) |

Sportyeric, good luck! Didn't I see ya stuck behind a pack of Vespas with the S2 runnin off the limiter in 5th? Remember after 96 the plugs were changed on the moduals to the Deutsch connectors. I changed the connector and pins on my wiring harness to accomodate a pro-series modual.

Buell T-shirt Quilt Raffle - I just got done mailing out thank you cards and raffle ticket stubs - so far we have sold a total of 77 tickets. Cody will be going to Destination hopefully this Saturday. Shotgun I know it is late notice, but let me know who I need to call to arrange for him to sign photos and sale tickets. We will bring both of his race bikes with us and have him all suited up. Thank you for everyone who has contributed so far to the cause. The money will go toward getting Cody to two National Races - one is in Stockton CA and the other is in Las Vegas. Depending on how he does with his new Metrakit bike we might be taking him to Florida in November to race. ps... Cody's website is a little slow right now, the host provider is having problems with their server, but should be up to speed in the next few days. Thank you again. Kimberlie |

Kim Saturday is great at Destination. Talked to Ed Wallace Jr, he won't be there but will let Mike know that we'll be there. He suggested if it is nice out to set up outside under the big entry awning. We'll have to figure out how to hang the quilt. Maybe we can duct tape it to the front window? |

Kim, Boss says that I don't have ot work Sat. Do you think you will need some help at Destination? I can be there if you need me. Shotgun, Hanging the quilt is a must, but duct tape? HA! Maybe Chris can think of something. I will get back to you. Loni |

Shotgun, Chris suggested that hanging it from the frame of an Ez-Up might do the job. We have one if needed. We also have heavy duty clamps that would hold it. Chris still has the Sunset Thunder Club Banner that we used at the races 2 yrs ago, we could also promote the club. Loni |

I will pack an easy up and table/chairs and bring it out. Loni- yes I think it is a must to have the quilt there. If you would like to come out on Saturday that would be cool, but only if you have time. You work long hours and I don't want to take any of your personal time away. ps..... I sold 9 more tickets today. edited by kimberlie on June 10, 2004 |

I'd be glad to meet you there Saturday morning to help set up too, Kim. Just pick a time and tell me if you need anything. I'd like to sell a few tickets myself, but I'm not gonna buy any cuz it would look like the fix was in if I won. Ya know what I mean? Different subject. We have an Austrailian Bueller known as Black X1 coming to town June 23 thru July 15 to pack up his fiancee and move her to Downunder. He'd like to meet some riders and ride if possible. Let me know if you want in. He is a gourmet cook (can you say "Toss anotha prawn on the barbie, Mate?". Wants to see a western sunset and sample local beer. |

Kim, Not a problem, I would love to come out and help. What time? Do you need the clamps or anything else? If you think of anything just let me know. Should I bring the Brag Banner? Way cool on ticket sales! I am now down to 4 left to sell. I might have to get some more from you. I will have to have some to take to the meeting Tuesday. Steve, I think we should get together with Black 1X, do some riding and grub. Sounds like fun. Loni |

Good thing you said prawn cobber, shrimps are for wimps. Love to go for a brew or two or three. And talk about the best bikes on the planet. Nothing quite like the people on Buell. If you have BBQ, i can cook. MadGaz aka BlackX1

Just thought i'd mention, the profile pic is from my home town Sydney. The smoky harbour in the background is from the huge bushfires we been having here during the drought that is now in its 5th year. I have been the driving force to get BRAG for all Australia. check out http://groups.msn.com/BuellinOz/_whatsnew.msnw MadGaz |

Just a quick note from the Idaho poster, Things are going well here. Just got a new laptop yesterday, the system guy named it buell! So now there is a buell on our network, how cool. I'm going to be in Portland this weekend long enough to finish getting the house ready, sign some papers with the listing agent and go to the Tubes concert with my wife. And I'm going to make some time to visit Cody at Destination on Saturday just to buy some buell quilt raffle tickets. Hope to see you STC braggers there. |

Ferris, I just emailed you a bunch of photo's Spud took of the Quilt. Blake said he didn't want the quilt on the QuickBoard. I just finished my first shim-in-bucket valve adjustment on my Speed3 and I'm bushed. 5 hours. Next time will be a lot faster, now I gotta get the 3 carbs back together. Valve adjustment on the Buell sure goes faster. |

Shotgun, this was Blake's last comment on the matter of the quilt: Here's an idea... If Steve will agree to provide monthly reports including photos and interviews of Cody and family in a "Tale Section" topic of his choosing and for as long as Cody is racing motorcycles, we'd be glad to support the quilt campaign. And we'll be sending a few stickers Cody's way for prominent display on his racing machine. Win-win? Deal?" he posted that on Saturday, June 05, 2004 at 10:51 a.m., and even tossed in the smiley. unless i've missed something, sounds to me like he's ok with the deal. FB

Ok, I read that as meaning, put something in the Tale Section rather than the Quick Board. |

Shotgun, i took it to mean that a quilt thread would be ok on the QB, as long as you also had a "We love Cody!" thread in the TS. win/win! btw, i haven't received any pix??? |
