After basically a year of trouble shooting my Uly I have gave up and want to get this baby fixed and back on the road right for this spring. I am looking for a reputable Buell mechanic/tuner who either does side work or runs his own shop. Will also consider GLOWING dealer service recommendations. Located in Twin Cities MN, can travel within reason. Seeing as Milwaukee is not TOO far away, if anyone knows any good individuals that way it would be cool to get their info too. Thanks. Wade |

Wade, I'm pretty good with these beasts plus I'm right next door. What is the problem you're having? The Crisis Center is ALWAYS open for Buell service. Brad (Maple Grove) |

Man that is a long story. Bike started running funny about 5000 miles or so ago(started out as a coughing in the intake when idling cold, then bike would take sometimes 45 minutes on the open road to "clear up" and run smooth, like the bike was not adjusting right to changing conditions), I would guess during the tail leg home of my Alaska trip in 2009. Thought it was an intake air leak, thought o2, thought cam position sensor... all of those parts were replaced with new (not all at once obviously). Now after a spring trip to NC gone wrong cause I thought I had her fixed, after crapping out in the middle of the smokeys I cant get bike to idle long enough to do any more trouble shooting. At this point I am just guessing either ECM or IAT Sensor??? |
