90% sure I will be ordering the Holeshot3 in the next few weeks, unless you guys can talk me out of it. Had a Pingel electric up/down in 09-motor/ram died. I bought it used...downside of the unit was the mounting. Its a heavy unit and was very complicated to mount on the R. new ram would run me $600, and I only paid 350 for the entire unit. This past year I went with a no-name air over electric with air kill. Fussed and fought it until I gave up and foot shifted. I could just never get things working correctly and or consistently. I have 2 racing buddies one on a CBR1000 and the other on an older Bandit1200. Both run the holeshot, and have never had a single missed shift. It's a nice simple unit, light and easy to mount. I know you guys all run air, but wanted to know if you had any reason for me to NOT drop the $500 on this unit. i run strictly et eliminations, so I cant see spending the time and aggravation of trying to get this air working, again. |

Well I don't know much about solving your problem Bott, or making any recommendations, but I'd take that air over electric off your hands. |
