Picked up some toys for the Christmas "Toys For Tots" program (motorcycles, of course!) One of them was the X-Blade, a naked sportbike powered by a V-twin that's a cross between a Thunderstorm & a Helicon. It has smaller versions of the 1125 air pods but what really caught my eye was the ZTL rotor. The frame, single swingarm, and exhaust seem "Ducati"-istic. Great to see Erik's designs still having an influence, even in China!

Wow, quite a mash-up of styles! So what holds the front caliper? I see the ZTL rotor, with the single fork on the opposite side....hahaha in the land of make-believe it doesn't really matter though Toys For Tots is a GREAT organization, that bike will brighten some child's Christmas. |

Ha, can't do much braking without a fork tube! It does have dual rotors and a squeezer on the other side. The only single-sided fork I've seen was on an American-made Cannondale bicycle named the "Lefty". I wonder if they copied that also. (Message edited by ronmold on December 12, 2010) |
