Hi,

Does anybody know the stock spring rate in the forks on an '09 1125R? I sent this question to Erik Buell Racing a couple weeks ago but they never responded.

Thanks in advance.

I don't recall the numbers, but the 09+ are a tad softer than the early 08s had.
Not sure when they changed either, thought it was midway thru the 08 run.

Thanks Dannybuell,
I saw that too. I just want to confirm the value before I possibly buy some new, softer springs for my weight.

Zac4mac,
I can not imagine a stiffer spring on a motorcycle front end than the one on my 1125R

I dunno Phil
I'm a skinny guy, 160 if I'm lucky , in gear and Loretta was made in the first week of production in Nov '07.
I'm close to, but not at the lightest setting on my front-end.

I tend to ride the "see-saw" point on Loretta so the stiffness isn't much of an issue.

I'm sure Buell lightened the springs tho.
