Probably more than you will want to see. Check out the expansion chambers on the two stroke honda. http://moto-works.bravejournal.com/ |

i cant believe some of those 2-strokes and their exhausts are truely art...especially that honda with the 4 chambers where the conventional gas tank would be and then to top it off with an underslung gas tank that functioned as a belly pan...truely engineering art, erik buell would be proud of that design!! although the exhaust would get the riders torso super hot i would imagine...still is sexy! anyone else think its wierd to see solid discs on a motorcycle especially on a bike of that caliber?? That's the Honda Freddy spencer rode with the fuel down low. It didn't work as I recall and the "Tank" got really hot and blistered paint and rider. |

Thanks Rob, that's a good link. I wish I knew the dynamics of building a two stroke system, I'm gonna need one for the GT380 I'm turning into a cafe. Going to be interesting. |

Thanks Rob, for posting the link with excellent photos from Suzuka! I love 2-strokes--those bikes on display are the most truly "works" bikes of all. Practically everything on them is special purpose construction. They are missing one very special 2-stroke...
