No worries about using my Ebay pic I need to pay for a oil cooler, headlight and a set up Hepco luggage racks I ordered. yea i saw a clear orange one at homecoming i had to leave before all the cool stuff got put out(was there the day before) but heard about that fender too. although no one seems to know what happened to it. i tried finding out and buying it but had no luck. its probably good i wasnt there for the sale. i would have looked like barker trying to find a way to fit everything and get it home... lol and wolf... shame on you! if only i had a lightning. | ||

The orange front fender at homecoming lasted about 3 minutes once they brought it out, a guy who had a lightning with orange airbox cover snatched it up | ||

on that note, how is it holding up to use? wolf and i talked about his a couple times and were worried that it would get chewed up from rode crud on the bottom side and look like junk before to long. | ||

it's holding up well. it is a pain to clean because you obviously have to take the fender off to clean both sides.....but I bought it knowing it would be. It completes the look and is truly one of a kind. I haven't seen any other pics of bikes with the orange front fender. | ||

I just can't justify $350 for a fender, lol.....that's not to say I don't want it, just that my wife would kill me after I couldn't justify it! lol | ||

I love the fender! Do you have any pictures of the red one on your bike? I sent you an email asking where you got it about an hour ago, but obviously I know now, so don't worry about that one. Wish I had the cash to buy it! I've already got the airbox and flyscreen though so I don't need a whole second set. | ||

Did Buell only make a few translucid front fenders? I absolutely love that see-through red plastic and wish they would have made a complete set for my Uly. I currently have the Racing Red but would prefer all red parts in translucid plastic, including the chin fairing. Does that stuff scratch easily? Thanks. | ||

it scratches as easily as the translucent airbox, but will seem to scratch easier because it will see more road debris. It is more work, but I think it's worth it. | ||

your making me wish I wasn't selling it....  But my new oil cooler should be in soon and I just picked up the brackets for the Hepco luggage racks from "Birdy" I hope it goes to a good home.... |
