I have an 09 1125CR. I bought a 2010 service manual thinking they would be the same bike but I'm changing the oil and see no oil sight glass as mentioned in the manual. Did the 10s have a sight glass? I bought a Corbin seat off ebay described as being off a Firebolt but would work on the 1125CR. The seat pan looks very close but the brackets won't let the seat line up well-holes don't allign. I called Corbin but was told that their seat pans are all bike specific so buying new brackets even if they would sell them separately would not help. Anyone have any experience with this seat? |

The seat will fit if you slot the holes a little . A stock firebolt will interchange but the Corbin has issues. Rick |

The 2010 has a sight glass. Remove the front bumpers and the center bumpers will need to have some rubber shaved. |

The oil change and check procedures are also in your owners manual. The 2010s are different. There is a copy of the 09 manual here: https://www.buell.com/om/99480-09Y_en/file-6.asp#h dtopic006398 |

Rick is correct. Slot the holes slightly with a rat tail file, and it bolts up perfect. I didn't have to do anything with the front bumpers. |

Slot the holes in the corbin - it shouldn't take much. Keep an eye on that seat - the Firebolt seat and the 1125 seat from Corbin ARE different, and the Firebolt seat pan will rub a little on the rear rocker box of the engine on an 1125. It did on mine but wasn't bad. If you shave down the rubber bumpers, it will only make the rubbing problem worse, so I'd advise against that route. |

The seat off of my 04 XB12R fit just as good as the original seat on my CR, which fit very nice against the tank and frame. No enlarging of holes, no slotting of holes, it just fit. Mike |

Thanks for the suggestions. Oil change was easy but messy-maybe a sport chock would help. I'll try slotting the bracket holes. |
