Are the shift shaft splines on an XB the same as those on the Blast? Looking at building some mild rearsets for my son's P3, and thinking about the XB shifter. If the shifter fits, approximately where would the toe peg lie? Thanks KM2 |

Yes the splines are the same and the primary cover even has the untapped boss for the XB shifter. They definitely sell the individual parts. The stock XB shifter comes with a 5/16" bolt. But you can use a 1/4" bolt and the bushing from the Blast brake pedal. Its durable and if you ever rip it out you can still tap it for 5/16". The XB shifter will make it shift at whole lot better! It can also be made to reverse shift. |

PS Between the stock XB linkage and the slightly longer Uly linkage, the toe peg will lie wherever you want! I've also listed in that thread the depth you can drill the hole in the cover without leaking oil (its .725", shaft bolt torque is 10ft lbs max and if you drill too far its not that big of a deal, but you do have to seal it) |
