Hey everyone, forgot to mention that when brother Matt was here from California for the holidays, he did say that he was going to be coming up for Splash 04...... wooo-hooo. It looks like Mike will be there too this year, Cody is not racing that weekend. It also looks like we will have a special little rider on board with Mike this year. That is right, he is planning on brining Cody along for a Splash of a good time! |

Hello everyone, This SPLASH ride sounds like a good time, is there a post somewhere or a website that shows a route? |

Ugh, its a little far to come for the meeting for me. There are those who live some distance away that may wish to do this ride. Interested, John |

S1 Hooligan, www.bcrider.com has last years SuperSplash pic's and stories. If you don't go this year your Gayer-n-shit. Not that there's anything wrong with that. In The Rain Forest, Bob |

Hi all, been lurking for a while and just found this thread. The ride sounds great. Gonna be kinda hard to get across the pass for the 20th. Any info for us on the back side of the hills? Planning on taking leave in July and my wife and I will be there, just looking for where to meet etc. Looking forward to putting faces with names. Thanks |

There was an entertaining write-up about a SPLASH ride a few years back in the Tale Section /{http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/discus.cgi} No routing provided though, I don't think. So didja add an S2 to the fleet, John? I'm still trying to figure out if I can. |

Redhat, meet in Woodland, WA at Horseshoe Lake Park (easy to find, on the west side of and plainly visible from I-5), early afternoon Friday July 16, for BBQ, beer, boat rides, bs'n, etc. the ride launches from the same spot early the next morning. get your rooms reserved early in Woodland and Packwood, they go fast. next time you're at Latus say hey to Dave Walsh for me. he's an old friend, and did Blue Groove/Northwest (the genesis for the SPLASH ride) in '97 on the Sportster (featured in Thunder Press) that his son now rides. John: very cool! ride to lean, FB |

John, i think i've got it figured out. just for drill, try telling 'em you've actually got a Triumph Speed Triple in the crosshairs, and then let's see if any of them NW RAT bastards will come back with something... |

I thought Buell was the only Bike that gave me that............well Big Wood (Old Growth) But nope. The Trumpetfills the bill and as a Timex, keeps on tickin ride after ride even flogging to red line continually. Blah blah blah blah (all the usuall bullshit) Don't get me started!! You guy's have to make the ride and thats an order from the Rain Forest, Bob |

Is Firemanjim's S2 still available? And does anyone know the owner of the silver on blue S2T in Cycle Trader that's in Aloha, Oregon? And where is Aloha? Still just dreaming. But the heads are coming off the Sportster on Sunday. If what's revealed looks too scary expensive to deal with promptly, I may yet talk myself into a spare bike. |

Sportyeric, Aloha is just outside Portland. Havn't seen that bike around. Good luck on the heads. |

A fully functional, if somewhat tired, bike at 8:30pm Saturday. The front head under examination on the diningroom table by 9:30. (Ah, the joy of being single again!) It'd be nice if they went back together that quickly. No visible wear anywhere so far. Amazing! Gotta like that! Digging deeper tommorrow! |

I see Beav Honda/Yamaha and Renton Motorcycles are sponsoring a motorcycle version of the STP the same weekend as our SPLASH. Actually, it's Sunday the 18th so expect lots of folks on the roads on the ride home. |
