I have a 99 Buell x1. the front top left motor mount broke from the head...Now what is my best option?... 1. Remove the head get it welded re threaded and away i go? 2. Do a xb head upgrade 3.Get a new front thunderstorm head? What would you do? |

If your going to to heads I would do both. Least expensive would be try to repair while still on bike. If removed for repair check wear and if in need of head work do both. How many miles on the X1 |

If there is any way to repair the head on the bike, that is the way "i" would go !!! |

I had mine welded in situ. You just have to remove enough stuff for the man to get at it. |
