I REALLY NEED A GAS TANK FOR A 1996 BUELL LIGHTNING... DOES ANYONE KNOWS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS TANK AND OTHER TUBER MODELS? OF COURSE I'M TALKING BEFORE THE FUEL INJECTED ONES... This should help . . . By the way . . . . the nomenclature says "tank cover". The 1991 S1 Lightning actually had, as you know, a rote-mold fuel cell. It was a first for the industry and new to Buell for 1996. The tank also withstands substantial impact as I demonstrated the first day the S1 was revealed to the public.
