Joe, this time we will be riding a truly twisted route to and over the Cherohala on the way down. It could again be your favorite part of the trip! Sandy has been making plans to take the straight route with the truck so I will be free to lead the group to TWO. Oh.....if you don't make it for BBB.....I may have to poke you in the eye with a sharp stick!..... Aside from Joe the RAT-buell, and Froggy, this is an open invitation for campers on the way to TWO, to lay over Thursday afternoon/evening where BBB and camping is free, and have a cool ride to TWO Friday morning of about three and a half twisted hours. We are about twelve miles due East of Knoxville Tn. PM me for directions. I will be returning Sunday, so you can also layover on your way back if that works for you. |

The Dragon ride is Friday. Somewhat less traffic and near zero probability of LEO presence. I don't really go for the dragon anyways. I like the roads to and from. If the interest is low for a dragon trip, I do know some roads in Ga... Or perhaps New12R might want to lead a Uly adventure trip? See you guys soon! |

If you want a moderate Uly adventure trip, here's a good one: http://www.blueridgemountains.com/images/Cohutta%2 0Driving%20Tour%202.pdf It's in the "Cohutta Wilderness Area" north-east of Blue Ridge, GA, about 20 miles from Suches. I did it a couple of summers ago when we vacationed in the area. Most of the route is a Forest Service road which had fresh ~6" deep gravel at the time. I putted the Uly along in first gear for what seemed like 2 hours and it handled it fine. I did figure out later that all that lugging along in 1st gear had made the primary go out of adjustment though. Wish I'd had the XB9 primary gearing that day. |

The route I like to take to the dragon from suches is great ride. Lotta twisties 60/325/19/294/68/Cherry Cola/Joyce Kilmer Rd. After that the dragon is like glass of brandy after a unforgettable dinner. |

Guys- keep in mind there's a huge Wallyworld just over the hill in Dalhonega, all kinds of camping stuff there. Even the freeze-dried food, which is actually pretty damn tasty... Carry just what is absolutely necessary, then make a run to Dalhonega for the consumables and whatever you've forgot. |

I am trucking my bike in and will be arriving Thursday sometime before noon. If anyone needs to make a run down to Dahlonega, I can run down or loan you my truck (if you promise to be careful). |

Sooo... Been on the road a lot for work lately and it looks like I've got an 80/20 change of traveling for work/making it to Buelltoberfest here in a few weeks... I've sent Kristi the cash for it already, and in the off chance that I can make it, I'll slum it where ever I can sleep. Anyone need a place to crash at C3 central? Would like to try to recoup some of the cash if I can... |

Prior or Kristi- what's the $$$ like? I'll probably still camp, but I might be swayed by a chance at a nice hot tub, etc... |

Geoff's place is off exit 17 of GA 400 at the intersection of 306 and 309. I left him a message to let us know if he will be there any of the days of Buelltoberfest. |

Prior- C3 is an awesome place to stay. Beautiful house, amazing setting, great folks. The driveway is a bitch though- ~100 yards of gravel at a ~30 degree incline. Hey, isn't it about time to start the countdown clock? |
