I'm going to sell one of my 1125r bikes: the one that's set up for street riding. Drop me a PM if you are interested. The bike is located in Dallas, TX and listed for $6,000. Here's the other particulars: Current factory warranty until 5/08/2011. Mileage is about 9,000 miles give or take a few. This is a 2008 1125r with 2009 white plastics. You can have your choice of the Translucent Blue wheels pictured, or 2008 wheels with the same finish as the tank and swing arm, and I'll put new Pilot Power 2CTs on the bike and new EBC HH Brake Pads when you buy it. (I have 3 of these bikes and I'm selling one, so that's why I have the extra wheels.) The title is clean/clear and the bike's registration is current. The bike is stock except the following modifications: * Buell Tail Pack, including a compact "slime" air compressor, mushroom tire plug kit, zip ties and other roadside goodies. * Buell Comfort Seat * Factory Heated Grips * Throttlemeister Bar Ends * Swing Arm and Fork Sliders * Integrated Escort ZR3 Laser Shifter, Escort Passport 8500 X50 Radar Detector, and HARD in-helmet notification/alert system. * Garmin Nuvi 680 GPS with many of the good roads in NW Arkansas marked. * New touring windshield (also blue) in addition to one pictured.    | ||

+1 Great looking bike; wish I could make sweet, sweet love ... er wait, wish I could ride her hard and fast until she screams and begs for more. BTW, that tail light is not stock yet it's not listed among your mods. Is it the 2010 LED light or something else? | ||

Oh, yea, the tail light. It's a clear lens over a bright LED "bulb". It's not the 2010, it's after market, but it's a nice (simple) upgrade. I have debated selling it for months. I used to ride Arkansas a lot, and it's a perfect bike for that. But lately, I'm mostly track, and this one isn't getting the miles. I've only been to AR twice this year instead of my usual 8-10 trips. I feel bad for not riding it, and I could use the $$$ to buy a new motor and some race bits for the track bike, so that's the back story. The other thing that seems to happen: Every time I ride on the street for a weekend I re-develop horrible riding habits that just kill my speed at the track and make me ride like crap. So for now, I'm going track-only. If you are local, I can throw in a track day, too  | ||

Not in the market, but had to say .. I love those wheels. I DO NOT like white motorcycles, BBUUTT, the Buell in white & blue is just amazing, I wish I could've gotten one, looks almost like a custom job. Good luck with the sale, although that thing should sell itself, beautiful. Dave | ||

Sold. Sniff. I was kinda sad to see it ride off with a happy new owner. No street bike at all now. Just two 1125r in track trim. And, one on the way to mecca for a new motor... It's a lonely garage. But the '09 seems happy to get the attention: I set a personal best at Cresson on it on Sunday. |
