That was a great race. I'm a big fan of WSBK, WSS, MotoGP, Moto2, IOM TT and the AMA Roadracing series. World SuperSport was almost as good as AMA Daytona Sport Bike this year. Boy, do I dislike Kenan Sofuoglu though. He may really know how to ride the crap out of that CBR600RR, but IMHO he is a dirtbag whiner of a rider and really wish Laverty would win the championship instead. |

I'm with you, Jng. Wish Laverty had won instead of Sofuoglo. And agree AMA DSB is an incredible series. What a tragedy that a handful of journalists savaged the AMA so badly. It is as good a racing series as you could ever want. And AMA Superbike keeps getting better as well. Best it has been in 30 years. |

Pity that Eugene Laverty has decided to move up to WSB next year, as I really think he will struggle on the R1 with no previous Superbiek experience to fall back on (apart from 40 laps of cadwell Park in 2004 apparently). I think he should have followed Sofuoglu's example and found a decent ride in Moto2 for next year where his 600 Supersport skills and good knowledge of GP circuits would have been much more useful (he did 3 years in 250GP after all). Oh well, time will tell..... |

Imanobuss - I'm also with you, all that bashing of DMG and look at what the second year of a completely new format produced - arguably the best roadracing action of 2010! AMA Superbike is OK, but there is relatively few manufacturers participating and it seems that something is missing. Trojan - Agreed as well, but perhaps Laverty will emulate Crutchlow and be the surprise of the season. Next year's WSBK should be fantastic, although it will be diminished without a factory Ducati effort. |
