Just goes to show how feasible a 1125 Uly really is. Or at least a Sport Tour bike based on the 1125. |

Its too ugly with those gigantic lobster claws hanging off the front. Get rid of those and it might look ok. |

Get rid of those and it'd over-heat! Function Over Form! |

Thanks guys, appreciate the kind words. Redbuell, I do hear you about the pods. They bug me as well. But there is no other option right now. I know Free Spirits made a kit, but I am not a fan of those either. I was just looking at the bike sitting next to my husky 450, and imagining front facing rads with a nice off road style guard on it! That would be very interesting. A whole lot of work, unless Erik wants to donate me a set of 1190 radiators |

Hey Jornum1, I would most definitely consider looking at some front mounted radiator/s. That would be my first mod if i was to buy a 1125. Yours looks good front on, but those dang huge flippers spoil it for me, not that my opinion matters any here. Good job though mate! |

A lot of people would like to see a different look for the pods, but its a bit easier said then done. I have gotten used to them since the first 1125 came out. I am surprised that no one else has tried to do something different. For me, they dont bug me enough to warrant the work. |

Jornum1, I think it looks pretty good from straight on. I'd like to see it with the ULY length suspension and duck bill. |

There is a little discussion about the uly suspension in the other thread. I really dont know if the rear shock would work. Not bolt on at least. I think with the increased angle, it would hit the frame and/or swing arm. I suppose a spacing bracket could be made up, but I am not sure. Anyone know the length of the uly shock bolt bolt to bolt hole? I wonder how much longer it is then the 1125. I think the duck bill might hit the pods at full turn. Also where it would normally mount on the lower tree, you have the brake and clutch lines running right through there. It might work with some modification. |
