have a source to get the parts but having trouble with the decisson.1125cr to a 1125r front windscreen. Any comments will help |

well the r would definetly block more wind and prevent speed wobbles, you will be able to add a steering stabilizer with the r too;but the cr is all additude and looks like nothing else on the road, the r looks like a weirded out version of my Firebolt xb12r so thats why i ride a cr. |

I think it's a great idea, especially for winter riding. Do you have the high bars? The r fairing would likely block much of the wind. If it's not too difficult a conversion, you may want to swap back to cr mode in the hotter months and r mode when it's cold or for touring. I'd be very interested to see a parts list (do you have to convert the instrument cluster?) and pictures of the conversion. |

I guess I'm more concerned about looks than the wind although that's a plus. I just think the cr looks tough and I don't want to lose it. |

Go ride a R and see how you feel. Or buy a second bike. I have both, they are vastly different. |

the CR forces you into a correct posture, when you hug the bike everything gets more balanced the ride, handling, even the shifting. |
