I have an '08 XB12XT. I got home and left the lights on because I'm a dumb ass and drained the battery. I charged it up, but now every time I turn the key on it blows the key switch fuse. The fuse blows as soon as I turn the key on. I had no problems with the bike before I drained the battery. Any idea what the problem might be? | ||

make sure your seat isn't touching or pushing a cable into something you have a dead short. Also if your light stayed on the whole time you probably melted the housing and the headlight is shorting out | ||

I just put a jumper wire in place of the key fuse and then when I turned the key on it blew the 30 amp battery fuse. | ||

could be bad relay. I had the same problem before. Replacing the relays solved the problem. | ||

when mine was doing this one of my headlights was the cause of it. Try un plugging your head lights. |
