Do they make an RJL that will fit the 8 pot ZTL2 caliper? |

Not that I've seen on the Vesrah website. I'd rather see the SRJL17 compound. The Dunlopad SDP883 pad ought to be a good alternative. I've used that compound on my CBR and think it feels comparable to the SRJL17s I had on my SV1000S. |

And those are available? Running EBC HH right now. Not a fan. Ferodo didn't seem much different. Thinking I might try the EBC extreme performance for track and street duty. |

How about Erik Buell Racing pads? http://www.EBRacing.com/shop/page3.html |

For the rice of their cheapest pad I could get one EBC extreme performance for track and one EBC HH for street . |

Jraice, I haven't tried to purchase the SDP883 yet as my stock pads still have some meat, but I will hunt for them once the stocker get thin. According to the Dunlopad rep I asked, they are available. |

Thanks! For track use I have heard a lot of great things recently about the extreme performance EBC so I went ahead and got those. The AFM number one plate holder runs them. I'll report back with how they perform with the ebr rotor. |

Been there, done that = waste of money http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/586744.html I know they work well on other bikes, but not this one. |

So what would you recommend I get? Still have time to order a new pair and send the EBC's (on route) back to American Sport Bike. I'd like to get something else from them if I do exchange so that leaves Lyndall (street oriented) EBC HH, Ferodo and OEM as my options. Whats the best for the track with the 5mm finned rotor? Or would it really be best to just do a pad from Erik Buell Racing... |

I've been using the EBC Extreme Pro with acceptable results for a while, mostly because I've not found something I like better. I have a set of the Performance Friction pads in now, and I'm going to try those soon... |

Ysracer, the EBC rep I have been talking to checked out that thread and had some doubts about what type of pads you were using. He says he has Buell race teams that use this pad. Anyways I have it on order, don't see any other good substitutes I can get quickly so I am going to give it a try and I'll let you guys know how they work for me. Totally brand new braking system so bed in should be quick. |

Jraice, did you nothave any luck finding the DP pads? If they are as big an improvement in bite, stopping power and feel on the 1125 as they are on my CBR, you ought to be happy with them. |

Problem with the DP pads is that I believe the blend available for the ZTL2 calipers isn't the same as that available for other sport bikes. EBC extreme performance pads worked very well for 10 20 minute sessions at B+ pace with heavy braking. None of the material broke off the pads, rotor wear looked good. |
