Aloha Guys, I live in Hawaii so I need a riding jacket that stays cool. I read good reviews about the Fieldsheer Corsair and picked one up for $90 online at Motorcycle Superstore. The jacket is made of a strange "carboflex" material that is unusual: like Lycra meets Cordura. It's a mesh that stretches yet seems very tough. The testing has show it to be 90% as abrasion-resistant as leather and I'd believe it. The mesh-y aspect makes it perfectly cool and comfortable to wear on days over 70. I'd say on a 90+ degree day, you'd be hard-pressed to find better protection that stays this cool. Has good padding and a spine protector pad as well. Cuff and arms have straps and you can tweak it to fit well. Does run a tad small. Anyway just thought I'd pass this along.... |
