Hi everyone! Looking to add some lighting to my 2010 Blast. Found some Protek 37mm fork clamps and some nice little Bikers Choice 20w marker lights. Small 35w halogens were frowned upon by my parts and service guys at the HD dealership due to the concern of overloading the electrical system. Any thoughts/comments/advice for the clueless newbie? Any info would be appreciated....thanks! |

Yes. I dont know how they are wiring it (but it sounds as if they know what they are doing), but they may run them off an additional relay. You dont want them coming on with the headlight as that could lead to starting problems (but them again, I can start my bike with both headlights on and the electric vest). The ignition does tend to malfunction with low voltage or a drained battery. |
