Anyone have the number for the "standoffs" for the handguards? I have an '05 Lightning but have an '03 manual (I knew this would bite me in the a$$). Could anyone possibly scan the parts manual pages for the hand controls and send them to me? The PO got very "creative" with this bike, not sure if I even have the right pivot bolts, redneck engineering you know... |

Thanks Froggy, To be honest I'm not sure exactly what I want, I think there are little "extensions" off the pivots to mount the CityX handguards, that's what I'm looking for (I think). Don't know what the original pivots looked like either, the PO had a way of using bolts where there were pins etc., I'm still trying to figure out which bolt goes on my back caliper (there's a long carriage bolt on there now, I'm sure THAT's not stock!!) |

according to my '08 parts book, you need the parts froggy listed plus: C0066.1AJ PIVOT SHAFT RISER (2) CD0001.T NUT,clutch lever assy.(you need 2, one for the brake side also) N0053.1AJ END CAP (2) (for the end of the bars) A05016.8CXVB SCREW (4) |

This is getting confusing, would it be possible for someone to scan that page in the parts book and send it to me? |

OK, let's see if I can figure this out blindly. The part nos. Froggy gave were the actual pivots themselves. The pivot shaft riser is the top "extension", cylindrical in shape. The nut is the bottom "extension", looks like a long extended nut. Is this what I'm looking at?? If so, the only things I need are one of the "nuts" and the 4 screws, I have everything else already on there, can anyone verify this?... |

Joel9, No, that scan is actually quite helpful. #10 is the part that I am missing on the one side, other than the screws, I'm assuming that is the "nut"? Thanks for taking the time to scan it for me! |
