I have a 2000 Thunderbolt. The mirrors suck. The rubber boot does not fit, and they can no longer be adjusted to be tight. So they move while riding. --- I heard from another S3T owner that you could replace them with snow mobile mirrors that "bolt right on " Does anyone know #1 if that is possible, and # 2 where can I get them ? |

You can put XB mirrors on with a minimal amount of material removed from fairing. Sorry I don't have pics. Just happened to buy a fairing with that setup. |

I used Firebolt mirrors and only had to enlarge the fairing mount holes slightly. They have metal arms inside the boots, more aerodynamic, and look better to me. |

Perhaps a semi-temp/perm fix. I had a mirror get loose in the socket, a few drops of loc-tite and it took care of it. (Yes it can still be adjusted) Last time I checked, the S3 mirrors were available (~$40) DAve |
