2001 Buell Blast. Will be editing/updating this posting as I get things done, like pictures. I really do like this bike, but it's time to move on. 492 cc. Small enough to comfortably squeeze in/out of garage between 2 cars. Fast enough for the highway and agile enough for city riding. It has about 11k miles on it. I am the 3rd owner. HD dealer replaced stator last season. I have done the rest of the work myself, which includes: new front motor mount; painted muffler with new strap, bolts, spacers; regular oil/transmission changes. Garage kept. Never rained on while I owned it. Brand new front tire (Dunlop defect, replaced). Rear tire has only about 2,500 miles on it. Good title. I am unaware of much of the prior owners, but have not wondered about abuse while I've owned it (since 5/08). I dropped this once in a parking lot practicing figure 8s in 2008. Replaced blinker that broke. Brake lever slightly bent, but not enough to replace. The rear wheel bearings are newer. One side has bearing held in with JB Weld, which has been holding for last 2 years. This is a reliable fix and you can verify this by searching on the internet. But I do have a used replacement wheel that will go with the sale. I have a windshield, which may be sold with the bike or separate, depending on interest. I also have a Buell tool kit, saddle bags, and a tank bag. These items are in great condition because I never really used them, though they are not new. I’m asking $1,500 for the bike alone. http://www.kbb.com/motorcycle/trade-in/2001/buell/ blast/65834 http://www.kbb.com/motorcycle/retail/2001/buell/bl ast/65834 I think this is reasonably in line with kbb.com, and I have taken fairly good care of this bike. I am asking for $80 for the tank bag. $80 for the saddle bags. $100 for the windshield (black). As with everything, I am open to negotiation, but I don’t really need to sell these items right now, and I like the bike enough that I don’t mind holding onto it; but I am ready to move on. Again, I will be updating/editing this post as I get things done and think of other things to add. Please feel free to ask questions. |

updated posting. http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/2015990857.html I notice that I put $1,500 as original price, but now I am asking $1,600. Therefore, if you are coming through this website, the asking price will still be $1,500. |
