I want one next to my Buell in the stable. Keep telling me about it. One of these times I'm gonna have money. Work is picking up! |

Can it be plated for the street? Hours or miles? (Message edited by gunut75 on July 18, 2010) |

Depends on your state laws...Florida doesn't allow it. Not sure of the miles or hours the bike doesn't have an odometer, but it's in excellent running condition. |

It has to be sick on the slab because it's downright nasty on dirt! |

A set of 17 inch wheels with street shoes that can change out in an hour or so for some stock trail shoes? |

I've got a plated and lightly modded klx 400 as well. Been thinking about selling it so I'm curious to see what you get for yours. |

Well, it's been for sale since the end of March and no one is buyin????? I started with a good price but down to 2000.00 now and still no takers. I'd be willing to take a partial trade on it at this point, maybe a small dual sport or ATV or off road golf cart.... |

I should probably just list mine for sale and see if there are any bites. I don't NEED to sell it by any means. It's got a bunch of bolt-ons and is in good mechanical shape and looks good (for a well-ridden trail bike, at least). I think I'll make my asking price $2200 so there's a little room for negotiation. I probably won't go below $2000 for it. I've toyed around with the idea of putting more street-oriented rubber on it as well. I'd really like a 17" conversion but considering that a set of wheels and tires costs half of what the entire bike is worth, it's an unjustifiable expense. I might just through some Trail Wings on the stock wheels and see how they do. |
