Took my S3 to the local Harley/Buell Stealership only because I know they take walk-in inspections today. Guy tells me 20 minutes so I go perruse the sales floor and come back to "bike won't pass inspection!". Claimed I don't have a plate light so i went out and showed him where the clear window of the tail light (bone stock settup) shines on the plate but bike was sitting in the sun and wasn't super bright... short story long, showed him the visable bulbs through the little window directly above the plate and he refused to pass it! took it to a place right down the road and passed in seconds. Really pissed me off... won't go back to a Harley dealer unless it's warranty item on the 1125... and still I'll have to search for a better dealer. |

Butch, how'd you guess where I went... I actually asked for Gary and as usual he was not there, but I will make a call and let it be known if I can get ahold of him. I even made it a point to put standard bulbs (usually run LED) in before I went. Got it inspected at a place a couple hundred yards away with no problem but the guy at C.S. was a douche and needs to get his head out of his ass. on a side note... Butch, gonna try to go to the Log Cabin tomorrow night.. keep expecting to run into you! |
