I was at Mid Ohio on Saturday and got there with 3 minuets left in qualifying. Heard the Buell race exhaust for the first time and damn it was impressive. I went to the pit to talk to the rider and asked him bout the exhaust to make sure it was the whole Erik Buell Racing system and needless to say I think I know what set up I want now. Any way I remember him saying he was shouting for 6th or 7th but he was out after the first lap. Dose anyone know what happed? |

According to Erik Buell Racing on facebook, they dropped a valve. Figured they could get "one more race" out of the engine...but didn't. |

I recorded Sunday's race and he finished 9th. It sure would be nice if he was running in the top tier or if Speed Channel would give a little camera time to the riders who are not fighting for the podium. I never saw the bike on camera.

That is the truth....Speed is not giving any time to anyone other than the leaders. I don't think they even mentioned it once. Usually they talk about the top ten. |

I find Speed's coverage of the AMA races to be pretty pathetic. I realize the leaders are important, but not to mention anyone past 10th place is kinda amateurish. Now get that Buell in the top 8. |

I completely agree. At least in the coverage of Motogp they pay some attention to the middle of the pack -- but then again they are not covering it, just playing it. |

The MotoGP coverage is like that usually because Rossi is so damn far in front of everybody else so covering him is pointless, LOL |

I talked to him for a minute about the exhaust on that bike during the fan walk, he said that exhaust comes from england right now, but they are working on getting one or the same thing made here in the states. He said what was on his bike was exactly what you could buy from Erik's website. I asked him if he has ever been on the bad web website and he said no, but he has heard of it. I also name dropped Dean Adams and Keda Design. I had a blast this past weekend, went all 3 days...... |

man.... i didnt even see the Buell and my eyes were bleeding. Did it get on camera at all? Hey just to clarify this aint no buell bashing- the reason i was watching at 1 or 2 am was to see the 1125 in action,. Ya know, this is gonna be a tough year. Next year may be WAY better. GO BUELL! for such a small company they are dragon slayers IMHO even at 9th. Wait til he's on the podium. Its inevitable. |

>>>for such a small company they are dragon slayers IMHO even at 9th. Wait til he's on the podium. Its inevitable. It really is cool. You don't need to look back very far to read all the "sure they're doing okay in DSB but what if they ran in Superbike?" It really is an impressive showing. Last year in New Jersey, their first outing, the Buells did great. Geoff has had the Buell in the top 10 it seems like most the year. I'm thrilled and can't wait to see where this is going. |

You could see him once at the start. :/ Nice track though, just come up in person next year. You won't be dissapointed... Speed didn't have any coverage of me or my kid either, but we were just on the hill at the keyhole. |

I was fortunate enough to be there last year on Sunday and witness Danny Eslick’s bump pass on Jamie Hacking through the esses on the last lap to take the victory on his 1125R. What an awesome race that was! The lead was changing at least every other lap. I was wearing my Buell colors and quite enjoyed all the pissing and moaning going on around me about the unfair power advantage of the Buell. It’s such a shame that there is no Buell in the DSB class this year. |

There will be this weekend. From Erik Buell Racing Twitter: ErikBuellRacing "Another note. Shawn Higbee will be racing an 1125R in Daytona Sportbike this weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Cheer on the Erik Buell Racing Buells!" http://twitter.com/ErikBuellRacing |

If the battle up front is lame I agree that they should get more rear pack footage! Sunday was a great race for the lead thou and I hate when you miss the good lead passes to watch the guys in the back not battling. |
