The bike was traded in to the dealer with less then 1K miles. What concerns do I have for an 09'? Are there safety campaigns, stator, ecm, wiring harness, heat issues? Thanks in advance for the advice....

you don't need to look around very much on this forum to see everyones issues ...

Stator and Clutch Cover are the most common issues.

Make sure charging harness recall has been done.

If you can get the VIN, you can run the service records through H-D (on line). That way, at least you know what recalls, reflashes have been taken care of. BTW, what are they asking?

Dealer can tell you the status of any recalls from your VIN - Safety or Product campaigns, not service or flashes.

Once a bike is connected to Digital Tech II, the flash Rev can be determined and updated if available/desired.
