Torq, when was the last time you came out for a  on the weekend? I can't remember! this weekend sounds like a good thing. Scarewolf, you think you could  up on Sunday morning to go for a , Ur still young, you really don't need to  Saturday night, or should I say Sunday morning, you got Sunday night to catch up Strech, if ya need, we can meet up with ya and give ya a hand on the Buell. Come on everyone, ya'll  about getting a  to go Get ur butt's out and  WOW think of it, If that happens then we will have Go figure  And don't give me any crap, We the same time from the same place every week, "CycleLab, Sunday 8 am, 1/2 mile north of 595 on the West side of 441" If ya got a better place to meet on the weekend and a better time, please say something, as it is now, if ya wanna join use later in the day give us ur # and a time to call so we can meet up with you.... | ||

I will be riding on Sunday Morning... and I will be waiting at cycle lab at 8:00am. If nobody shows up by 8:30am, then I will leave and I will strap Buella on back and ride without you. Why does it seem so difficult to get a pile of us together? some people in Palm beach and north seem to be getting together. although I (and Guy) have made several attempts at them posting here, we have obviously lost them. It is not my fault that you dont have anyone else to spend time with on weekends. I show when I can, but the weekends are the only time I spend with my better half, so deal with it. I'm not  about goin out riding, I do like I always do, I wanna ride I grab my bike and ride even by myself to no place in particular. set up a real "planned" ride and get more people other than you and 1 other person to show and "maybe" I'll go also. of the current posters in this section I have been here the longest and have attempted several times to not only get people on board and communicating but also to gather together and ride. many attempts were unsuccessful, and others where we had 7+Buells gathered. dont be the "pot" because this "kettle" will call you out. NOW, lets all play nice and quit  I "am" available Monday thru Thursday night! who wants to meet up? when? where? if no suggestions I'll ride solo as I usually do, like I did tonight. Well first off Torq, Thank's for being a dick and using my real name, Hell my comment was pointed at many not just you fat ass.... At no time did i use anyones real name  and all I asked was when was the last time you were out to ride? Unlike you the rest of us have a real job's and not a suger-mama, but that's how you roll bro....Hell I know you ride when you wanna ride, just like everything in your life, do what you want, the way you want, and  everyone else...You don't wanna but ur the one getting personal, Just like I just did.....Come up with a real place and time to ride and i'm there, and weeknights at midnight is a bunch of bull....As for ur best half, she is more than wecome to join us for the ride, she could cupcake with you. As for you Scarewolf, you have no exscuse, other than you stay up all night and sleep till 2pm.... My whole point is that many talk about getting a group together to ride, but no one gets off there ass to ride in a group... Again: Come up with a place and time to ride that works better for everyone, "That goes for everyone and anyone" Now does anyone else who doesn't come out or set up rides wanna give me crap? by the way....a simple click on the user name shows your profile and hence your real name.  but I fixed it anyways at no point in time did I insult you with name calling and I'm sure Natalie will really appreciate your reference to her as my sugar mama. and just because my current "job" is renovating "our" house does not mean your job is any more "real" than mine, HELL, at least you get to go home and leave work behind. and the reason I do what "I" want when "I" want is because I wont be relegated to relying on anyone else's schedule....too many times I've waited on others to be just standing there waiting  it is not everyone else... Wow, some tension going on !!! At least you guys can ride! As a result of my front muffler breaking "again" it has broken an exhaust stud, and in the worst place of all. In the very rear. Talk about a pain in the ass!! Well I have the new stud and I'm gonna replace it. Rotating the engine was pretty simple, took me almost 2hrs. So lessen learned, muffler clamp breaks FIX it before it damages anything else!! That being said. Can't we all just get along and just ride! Well when I have time and get my bike fixed! Oh and can't wait, thinking of wrapping my header since it is out! | ||

so is it now fixed? wrapping the header is best done off the bike, its the only reason mine hasn't been done yet, my header hasn't been off yet. any indication as to what may be causing your strap to continue breaking Kosack, when you fixed your strap has it shown any signs of breaking again also? I have seen on the XB Board that others have been having similar issues, maybe a design or parts vendor change led to an inferior quality part? | ||

I have had no problems with my front strap since the break i had, mine was caused by rubbing a curb rite on the strap witch under the tension of it caused a weak spot. I found a good replacement for the straps, They are a 6" SS Tbolt Hose Clamp you can get them at Grainger "5 for $31.70" the part # is 1XGX3I havn't measured the rear Strap yet "havn't taken it off. Fresh12R, since you have yours off, Let me get my hands on it to measure it and find that ones replacement, Harley charges way to much for them... | ||

I've got straps at the shop for less in 316 ss; 9" open. The clamps are all stainless, mostly 304, and all brands seam to have inferior bolts that are always the weak point. Last time I went to Harley they were 16.95(a while back). Sorry I don't remember the exact size needed. All else fails I can order some, high quality polished ones. | ||

Scarewolf, the muffler straps on the Buell is a TBolt and not a standard screw hose clamp, this makes them very strong and reuseable, The front one is a 6" diamiter, and 5 for $32 hell can you beat that price? I'll buy...... But remember, 6" SS TBolt hose clamp, nothin else wil doooooooo lol | ||

I tried Tbolts from two different places (NAPA and mail order marine shop). Both were thinner steel bands than the factory part. (That being said, they have held for about 1000 miles so far... not enough to be conclusive, but enough to know it isn't a "non starter"). | ||

WTF you talking about Kosack. They are all hose clamps, the ones you've referenced in correcting me are called perforated worm gear clamps, the one for the muffler is a t-bolt channel bridge clamp; and remember, I work in a marine store, so quality in general is superior to the motorcycle industry. The average exhaust hose on a ship runs on average 8''. Some of the clamps are $100 a piece. They are very high quality stainless but all have crappy grade T-bolts. However, braking more than 1 or 2 constitutes another problem, like a bad isolator or tweak in the piping. | ||

just got back from the Jupiter bike night, albeit a lot wet...hope my phone works tomorrow(it's waterlogged and wont turn on) cool meet,met 2 other Buell owners, both with 1125R's, a red and a white at least as large as Hooters or Cafe 27 seems they have it every 3rd thursday of the month | ||

the soap opera was sooo 3 days ago,move on people and please try and keep up........but if it means we get to hear more from Stretch, Beachbuell, and Scarewolf I'm sure my brother and I can provide our own version of OCC here for your guys entertainment semi regularly  anyways...the Palm Beach guys seem up for a gathering, http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/579790.html?1279283937 can we get a legitimate census of those not only willing, but will actually commit to a ride. So saturday night i had company over, rolling meatballs, until 2:40am( we rolled 350 balls for a fundraiser), i finally made it to sleep somewhere around 3:30/4:00. 8 woke up around 6:30 this morning, very tired, but also very much looking forward to a ride with my friends, a whole bunch of us. I was the first to arrive, with torq hot on my tail, litterally right behind me, and we sat around for a half an hour, and nobody else showed up... You missed out! That's all i'm going to say! | ||
