Hmmm....where to start? Envy. Greed. Lust. ---> Stalker of Buell. Since my late high school days (graduated in '95) I have followed the works of Erik Buell and have always wanted one. I kept count of the Esses, one, two, and three. An Emm in there. Nice, very nice. Followed by the Exes and the Arrghs. I like where it's at, makes me wonder where it's going. Went to college, then grad school, got married, got divorced. Found several different careers. One thing stayed the same. I want a Buell. Badly. A lot. Very much. So much, I went to look at a wrecked '08 Blast today for $900. I need a Buell. I Lust for a 'tuber. I Greed (yes that's correct enough usage) for an XB. I Envy the rider of an 1125...X. I am to that point where any will satisfy but none can close the deal. I have found a series of Youtube vidoes to play on a looped repeat. I have ordered one book called "25 Years of Buell" and am looking forward to reading each of your words (thanks Court). I need a Buell. Sincerely, Spencer Stewart |

Check the "Buell Motorcycles for sale section", there are some smokin' deals. I'm smitten by that S3T down in Springfield, what a sweetheart....... |

Strato9r -- I've been watching the for sale boards for some time... I really like the Millenium X1 in Louisville CO from Mike E and the white 1125r with fairing lowers in Wichita Falls, TX. Saving the funds, saving the funds. I know one day I will have my own Buell to ride. Just wish it was today. Safe riding all. |

Checked them out; both are stellar, God I wish I had a bigger garage! That 1125 is particularly evil, the Erik Buell Racing decals are the perfect touch, all it needs is an 1190 upgrade........... |

Breadman, I know the X1 in Colorado well. Mike and I rode to Colorado from MN in 2003? I've worked on the bike as well. It is a very well maintained Buell. If I was in the market, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Mike is a good guy and a very straight shooter. Check out the want ad again, I posted another picture of Mike and the bike. Brad |

Strato9r, Re: the very sweet (and only white one I have liked) 1125R, I wonder if it has the Erik Buell Racing race ECM to match the exhaust slip-on. That is definitely one sick ride. Also, patiently awaiting the results of Al's 1125 exhaust shootout... Brad, I check the listing every day to make sure it is still there and I saw your addition. I wish Mike the best of luck selling it, but secretly, I hope no one else buys it. I just invested a rather large sum of my savings into an engagement ring. As soon as I recover from that I plan on hitting him up. It really is a gem of a bike and having not even talked to Mike, I am pretty certain the X1 could handle a road trip to TX with no trouble. My only trouble is which one will I be able to get. Both seem to call my name, but I'm sure I can only get one when the time comes. I'm also sure that I'll be happy with either, and both. Arrghh. I finished reading the book "25 years of Buell" and I found it very entertaining and informative. Court, the way you walk through the story makes you fall in love with each of the models all over again. Thank you for such a great contribution to this community. To those who haven't read it yet I can't help but recommend it. Spencer |

Hey Dave, I didn't mean to leave you out of it! Sorry about that. Kudos to both of you for taking on the task. I'm sure it consumed a lot of that free time you'd have rather spent riding. Spencer |
