Europe trip maybe next year, most of us have access to another bike & might be prepared to lend to someone they know, insurance might be tricky but I'm sure we can sort something. Midweek flights are fairly cheap these days. Hmmmm |

Give Newfie a cigar Speaking of which, are there any good cigar shops out there, my all time favorite series was the Thomas Hinds Vintage I but when they switched to Vintage II they were betting on the Cuban embargo being lifted. As such I can't get IIs around here and I would like to see if I can find any when I am up there. |
Whatever

Newfie, Rich and I sent you an e-mail yesterday... the title is "From Charlotte" keep an eye out, will you... Could someone please post again the details of the Buell gang going up there??? I am not going with my friends in June due to job/ financial constraints, but by August there might be a slim chance I could actually make it (with a few unpaid days off and vacation time). Cooooooolio... it is finally warming up here !!! (too bad I gotta move again, oh well...) Char |

Tom, My more recent plans can be found at: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show.cgi?tpc=6817&post=241759#POST 241759 These are the dates I'm using, and aren't flexible anymore. Hopefully everyone can match up along the way with the route I have planned. The reason for the strict timeline: planes to catch, a bike to ship etc etc.

Buggie, What part of the island are you from!!!!! A know fact was at one point in time Downtown St. John's had more bars/pubs per capita than any other city/town in North America. |

Boys & Girls, Next we will need to figure out where you all want to go or will we just play it by ear, ride till we get tired type thing or make up some set plans. I'd prefer the ride till we get tired then crash wherever. |

As AW has the most developed plans and a strict regimen I will try to book my passage on the same ferry as him, so exactly when are you planning on boarding the ferry Alex? |

Char, I don't know if you have paid attention to our plans....My son & I are trailering to Buffalo, NY to hook up with Alex. It is part due to his (not Alex's) lack of mileage and wanting to spend more time riding in New England than on the interstate between. I am going to have to find a bigger trailer since mine is just big enough for 2 dirt bikes and I think the road bikes may not make it. If you would be interested in riding out with us you are more than welcome. We are leaving N.E. IA on 7/28 and will drive straight to Buffalo. Hopefully meet up with Alex and take off for Sydney. We will come back the night of 8/4 and head home. Or if you want to ride the whole way, I'm sure Alex's group would have you. |

Boys and Girls, Drop me an e-mail to let me know your plans. I wanna be on the other end of the island with that European Guy thats flyin in from France!!! Sorry Grumpy - You know you don't sound so Grumpy on the phone - how did you ever get that name. Just like the nickname my wife gave me a few years back - "Arsehole" but she had to stop calling me that when the kids started using it. |
