Hi, I have read some of the posts and haven't found a definitive answer. Do you or don't you seal the inside of your tank to stop the bubbling. My tanks is all bubbled up and has some gouges. What do I fill in these spots with? When I paint the tank, I will use the proper paint. Thanks in advance. |

no. Tank sealer is for metal tanks, to stop corrosion. The proper way to stop the bubbling is with the correct primer and re-paint, very patient, careful prep work. If you've searched the issue, you should already have the specified paint and primer. Not saying some haven't used tank sealer, but I wouldn't. |

The bubbling isn't the paint...it's the PREP. Prep it right and repaint, you'll be fine. I wouldn't seal the inside either. If paint on the outside bubbles...where would the sealer go if / when it bubbled on the INside? I don't want that in my carb. |
