I have the fmf slip on pump gas ECM on the way and was wondering if it just brings the bike back to stock performance (as I found I lost a little when I put the fmf on) or can I expect better performance across the board. if Anyone who has this same set up can give me an idea that would be great. You'll notice how much smoother the engine runs, nice even smooth idle, etc. You'd swear you gained 2 cylinders it'll run that smooth. The power will be right there and everywhere too. As a result of the smooth running, it won't feel as powerful, but watch out! When I first installed mine, I took off and was doing a wheelie and didn't know it until my front wheel hit the pavement! The only thing you'll lose is a good portion of your engine braking, as a result of the smooth idle, but that'll come to pass. Just downshift sooner. Now you can experiment with air box mods, too, which you'll find will make a difference. Gas mileage will be about the same. Just make sure you reset the T.P.S. before you start the engine. Turn the key on without starting the engine, crack the throttle wide open and back it off 3 times, turn the key off, and you're set. Good Luck!!!
