1998 Buell S3 Thunderbolt: Just finished frame off restoration. All bodywork done my be, and paint done by my father who has been in the business for 38 years. Frame done by Creative Powder Coating of Minneapolis and front end designed by Air Tech Streamline. This resto is done right not overlooking any details, all major components such as front motor mount bolts & front and rear disc, rear pulley all installed with new Buell hardware and torque to specs. Upgraded the rear rubber isolators to the heavy duty stock. Every nut & bolt was re-conditioned or replaced with polished stainless. All work done with correct loctite & spun by the book. Here is a list of mods performed: 1. Frame done in Reflectra (resembles natural aluminum) 2. All body work accept lower belt guard & wheels done in pearl black. 3. Billet gauge mount brand new from Buell (M2 cyclone). 4. LSL round race pegs. 5. Aluminum LED blinkers with slow flasher. 6. Aluminum bar-end mirrors anodized black. 7. It has the Crossroads Devonator II breather system. Self contained, no hoses, no catch can. Also there is one small scratch on right side of handle bar right next to where the bar meets the top clamp that I touched up with black paint (forgot bar clamp was not tight and twisted bar during assembly) |
