folks what is the kit # for the magnicore that folks have been using on the Uly's. I have an 06. Just changed the plugs and the front one seems to be fouled the rear one looks fine for 10K miles. i noticed a slight hesitation in running so I did TPS reset over weekend, didn't cure problem. Perhaps the wires have given up. |

Be careful when changing plugs or even simply removing the boots--the conductor is far more fragile than you can even imagine its the connection to the metal plug clip is crimped very poorly in my opinion. DAMHIK. Currently running the stock Bar-and-Shield wires without any problems on my Uly. |

Thanks Ftd. Methed yup, I have changed plugs several times. for any others that are reading this, be very careful with back plug, some folks on here have stripped their heads. It took me awhile to get it started properly, gas line hose on cap and big hand shoved up under frame/fuel tank to line it up. |

Sorry, I wasn't referring to removing the plugs specifically, just the step of disconnecting the plug wires from the plugs themselves. It was the crimp between the carbon-core and the clip that gave me fits and seemed a poor design to me. +1 on using fuel line to thread them in. |

A chunk of 3/8" airline works even better. It grips the entire ceramic top of the plug, not just the tip. I don't even need to use my hand to line it up. |
