jimmy, those jardines fall apart. it's been reported over and again; no thanks. i'm glad to hear you got a drummer.

Jardines been falling apart if not properly repacked and maintained but that has been on the XBs. Only pipes I have heard about for the 1125s is the FMF. I had a Jardine on the SS for over 9000 miles and with proper repacking never had an issue.
When all the packing blows out there is to much pressure on the back plate of the pipes and it causes the rivet holes to get wallowed out. |

One of these days I will figure out how to drive the Camaro AND ride the Buell...then I could take the Camaro to the car show, look at cars, go for a ride, then come back, look at more cars, then call it a night!!!!

Mel.. ive been at school for 2 months then came home for a weekend then down to New Orleans to look for a place to live when i moved. im home tomorrow for good, atleast till i move in july, so i plan on going to hoss's next wends, rain or shine..thats as long as the buell is up for the rain part..got to figure out why its idling high, im hoping its just the rear temp sensor is bad( for it grounding to the frame) but im checking the intake seals when i do the sensor.. |

Thursday I am out for good. Just wanted to say enjoyed everyones company most of the time.
Had a few bumps along the way but hey shit happens. If anyone is ever riding through NC give me a shout and I will show you the one or two crooked roads down there.
Phil enjoy your next station and don't worry about the patches.
Mel get that damn drummer fixed and for goodness sake keep the rubber side down.
Goody keep the front wheel down and stop paying the popos. Hope everyhig works out for your son. If he or you are down at Lejeune give me a call.
Myron enjoy the flat roads humid summers and hurricanes in New Orleans.
Jason hookup with the C3ers when you get down south. PM ulywife she can tell you what's going on.
Eric good luck with the pizza joint and I am glad you got the 1125 down at fort Bragg before I did. JK
David shoot me an email if you need help moving in. We need to get together and go ride old maple hill road.
Dwight only met you a couple of times but keep the wife on her bike it only makes it that much more enjoyable for you both.
Matt had our issues but if we dwell on the past we cannot enjoy the present. Keep it safe if not for your sake for your families.
Buells brought us all together and even though I was not around a whole lot I enjoyed meeting all of you. I learned something from you all good, bad or indifferant. Wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
If I am ever back up in the area I will post up if nothing more than to say hey.
Alright enough BS.

Jimmy, no word on the wife...we will find out tomorrow morning. My work thought I was off until Tuesday, so they told me today...her unit doesn't work that way...
Myron, seeing as the wife is in Alabama, the only celebrating I will be doing will be around the house. Of course, one of my friends DID volunteer to babysit tonight so I could go to Hoss's and have a beer or two, so I'll be there around 8-ish... |

Mel,
The muffler is sitting in the garage. Just let me know when you want to swing by and grab it.
It took us 2 hours and 10 minutes to pull the bike apart, remove the headers, replace the header gaskets, swap the exhaust, put it all back together and start it up...
He rode out about 20 min ago. |

Alright we made it down and are finally getting settled in. Unpacking is a pain in the arse but I made some time to meet up and ride with C3. Good riding and food to.
So I found out a tidbit of info and want to know if any of you would be interested. This Friday June 5th Keith Wandell will be doing a ride from Ray Price HD and Triumph in Raleigh NC. We would like to show our support for Mr Wandell and his decision to shut down Buell by getting as many Buells together as we can and making an appearance at his ride. If any of you are interested shoot me a PM. I will post more details as I get them. Right now from C3 there are about 4 or 5 that are planning on showing up.
