I'm trying to locate front pads for my '98 S3T with little luck. The "local" dealers don't have them. I thought I read where SBS or EBC has pads available at other dealers (metric, non-Harley/Buell) that fit the calipers. I'm interested in decent performance... but I'm not racing with them. Any advice, part numbers, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks!

Steve: I'd check with some of the Badweb sponsors. They know their stuff, and should be able to help you out.

I've been happy with my pad purchases from American Sport Bike - EBC HH Pads on the S3. I'd wanted to try out the Ferrodo pads, but they seem to be in stock very infrequently.

On the SV I'm running Vesrah pads - works really well. If you fax them an outline of your current pads, they can look through their product line for pads that will fit your caliper.

I was hoping to find something locally (like today... nothing like letting the pads go down to about nothing!!). I did find that EBC FA249 pads fit the front, but I haven't located them in stock yet. If I don't find something soon, I'll contact a sponsor and have 'em shipped. Thanks for you response, Henrik.

Well, I think Kawasaki used Nissin calipers at one point - do you have a local Kwak dealer??
