Can a person upgrade the rear bearing in a 2008 wheel to a 2009 bearing? any part numbers?? Thank You Ed |

The change in bearings is on the 2010 wheel. A 2008 or 2009 cannot be upgraded to a 2010 configuration. |

IIRC 3 bearings on the 2010 vs 2 on previous. |

Plus the bearings are slightly larger and there are separate, external seals which do a better job of keeping water and dirt out of the bearings. |

Might want to give ebr a call, they have some light weight wheels. The wheel I held had the brake rotor and a sprocket on it and it was still lighter than just the stock wheel! |

The wheel that I held looked like the stock one and I think it was a little wider and still made of aluminum. I would like to see the price on the ones that I saw. |

A dust/ water seal would help, Im suprised they didnt fit them ??? all the bikes I have ever owned did, even my 1974 Suzuki 100 had them.. |

I'd like to hear about those wheels, too. They are using PVM wheels to my knowledge, which are $1300-$1600 a piece in Mg. |
