On previous bikes I've mounted a Garmin Streetpilot 2620 using a Ram Mount configuration. Their website now lists the Buell 1125R as a supported vehicle, and it suggests the exact parts that I already have. The issue is that it says to use the general clamp for round handlebars, but there is no place on the bars where the mount can fit. Has anyone come up with a solution to use a Ram Mount on their 1125R? Would the steering stem mount work? If so, what bike's parts match? |

I have been thinking about making my own simple mount for under the windscreen. There seems to be plenty of space at the "dash" to put a GPS unit. |

The easiest and cheapest one id to buy the RAM ball that's hollow and attaches to the lever brackets.. It's just one bolt and costs pennies.. I have it on mine and it's great.. |

I used an old suction cup mount that the rubber was deteriorating and wouldnt stick to the wind sheild , then drilled a pilot hole in the top of the front fairing support and no issues , was a little concerned about drilling and causing my own stress fracture , but nada ... Best of all , it was FREE

I made a small bracket that bolted to the inside of the fairing at the mirror mounts. It extended out a couple of inches and a ram ball was mounted to the extension. It supported my 2610 perfectly during my recent 1700 mile trip to the Smokies. |

I use the clutch reservoir cover base for mine with the short arm and it works great. |
