I just wanted to run my mouth about how much I am enjoying this bike! I went for a healthy flog of about 250 miles yesterday on the back roads of Frederick County, MD and Adams and Franklin Counties, PA. After about an hour of settling in I reach my Zen Place where I just keep in the gas and let the bike ride itself. Just awesome. Thanks again Everyone at Buell, Rotax, etc. I now have about 2,500 miles on it. The new Michelin Pilot Sport 2CT rear is a great tire, very confidence inspiring. |

I'm in Carroll County but frequently ride up near Gettysburg out towards Chambersburg and down into Frederick County. Beautiful country!! And the 2CT is going to be my near tires I think ... my Corsa III is just about done @ 4k miles. |

Hey Jeepinbueller, JT Motorsports in Frederick has good deals on tires and they will not scratch your rims! I only got 2,000 from my rear Diablo, but I had it over-inflated for a while... |

Thanks for the heads up, I'll check'em out. I usually go to C & L Cycle Shop in Eldersburg, but I'll definitely stop by the next time I'm over thatta' ways. I'm by no means extracting even 70% of this bike's potential since it's pretty much my DD ... I read that the 2CT is harder in the center and a bit softer in the shoulders than the Corsa III. Unfortunately most of my wear is in the center (I predict cords to show in about two hundred or so miles) but at least I'm concentrating on my technique when I do get to carve it up and only have ½" of unused shoulder (CS) which I'm content with. Everyone seems to like them, I figure I'll give them a shot. |

I got 4984 out of mine, but if I looked closely at it prior to my last ride I would not put the last 100 on it. Cords showing 360, very bad. Good news is new tire is due on the 4th... When I swap the front and rear next the 2CT sounds like a winner. |

I rode the V-Rod with cord showing for 150 miles, to get home from College Station. I think I held my breath the whole way. Apparently the steel belt on the center of the Dunlop at least, doesn't wear much when exposed. I put it on the trailer to get to the dealer for a new tire... |

There are some great roads out that way. Especially in Frederick Co. Some time in July I'm planning on getting a group ride together if anyone is interested let me know. It's a pretty fun run. |

Dont wait until you think the cords are going to show thru with the Pirellis. Dont. I had just washed my CR so I know the tire was about beat but of cousre no visible cord showing. When I got to my destination(about 15 miles)I had cord showing halfway around the tire. Dangerous . They wear fast when so thin. Just FYI. |

Next "down to cord" tire that comes off your bike, take a good feel to how little material is left and how flexible it is. Then think about your life depending on that at 75 mph(or more). |

Blur, I live over in Eastern Panhandle of WV just below Hagerstown and would be interested in a group ride anytime in the near future. Oh since this is my first post, a little intro. 2009 1125R, no issue so far, just over 2k. Normally use it as my commuter ride for my 240 RT ride to work each day. Rider for nearly 40 years now of many different brands and style. Currently have a couple of other bikes of the cruiser type. Love anything on 2 wheels, from a Schwinn to a a Vespa. Retried military, now working in construction with focus on Project Management focused on Mechanical aspects. Mechanical Engineering background, long time wrench turner and plan to do most of my work unless it will violate warrenty (while it is in effect). Love the 1125R and so far so good.
