Installed the Americansportbike.com Rox risers on my Uly. Simple deal. It's like a new bike (kinda) Bet this thread is useless without pics! I'll get some during lunch. |

How much cable re-routing was needed? Or did you add extensions? |

No re-routing at all. There was plenty of slack in the lines. They did tighten up but no binding of any kind. This road I was on is called "Skyline Drive" or "Dinosaur Hill" It's a sweet twisty road right in the town I live in of Rapid City, SD. This is also where I test rode the 1125R in 08. It was fun on this road. Highly uncomfortable for me but fun!

And 1" is enough? I'm looking at the 2" for the flexibility they offer, but at 6'3" with long arms, I'm not sure I need that much additional rise. Anyway, good timing on your post! Thanks for the pictures! |

That's why I got the 1". it does make a good difference. It feels more stable and I feel like I can ride it more aggressive this way. I'm 5'-11" and I thought 2" would be too much for me. Besides - with 2" you most likely have to lengthen cables and for the price they sell these for it wasn't a bad deal at all. A little over $50.00. |

I have the 1" risers also and am very happy with them. I've been happy with every transaction with American Sport Bike. I also put the 1" risers on the wife's SCG but she really needs the 2" so a used 1" set will be available when I get the cash for the 2's. What windshield are you using? |

i put the 2" rox risers on my uly and it made it twice as comfortable for long rides. no problems with the stock cables. seems like i may have taken the front brake cable clamp off, but that is about it. i am 6'. |

Timely post, I was looking at installing some risers just overall comfort and to work better when standing on the pegs. I was most concerned about the cables. Thanks! |

2" Rox Risers here and as 'Loves_to_ride' said, no cable lengthening needed. I'm 6'2" and it was a nice improvement. The height and forward/back flexibility is nice to have. |

I am using the 1" risers from American Sportbike as well. The stock bar position was almost good enough for me but just not quite high enough. These riser put the bars in exactly the right place for me and I don't feel like I am reaching down to them anymore. The 1" risers are a quality piece and very easy to install, no cable mods needed at all. And, as many others have mentioned, American Sportbike is a great business to deal with. Too bad others don't have the level of customer service that they have! |
