anybody seen or built any stands for their bikes?....I just cant justify spending all the money on some pretty stands when im fairly sure i could build something that would be functional. |

At $ 49 I don't think you can build one for this if you include your labor. I love my Harbor Freight stand. Never a problem, and I bolted it to the floor. Drive right into it. Mark-

Scott, here are three I have made from rigid conduit for pennies, well probably less then $10.00 each but I have a welder. Retired, no money but a welder.LOL Not all together pretty but highly functional. One front for under the forks, one rear for through the axle, now with wheels), and one stem mount to change a front tire/wheel. I use jack stands under the passenger peg brackets to change a rear tire. Maybe you can at least use these as an example and make some better ones. Bob

i really like what you have there bob...if you have a picture could i see the front fork lift without it being hidden by the bike. |
