Been searching around and cannot quite find the info I'm looking for. Did the highbar conversion this weekend. Very happy with the results, @ 6'6" I was a tad cramped with the clubmans. The only remaining aspect of install are the bar ends. I cannot see how the heck to get the stock plastic ones in the highbars, the flanges are way to large to fit the tube. I started shaving them down but I cannot help but think that endeavor will end in failure. So... Anyone have tips on installing the "bar ends" that came with the kit. OR... I tried some universal metric bar ends and they were too small (OD of the end was smaller than the ID of the bars while the "inner" tube about an inch in was too small for the compression bolt... LOL) I would love to put an aftermarket bar end on there but I am not sure what to look for... Aluminum would be great, who make .75 bar ends that will fit Thank you! |

I made a driver that has a recessed concave end so the round end of the plastic bar end fits up inside. It keeps the bar end aligned and doesn't flatten the end of it when struck with a heavy hammer. The plastic ends do look cheap so I pulled them out and bought the Vibranator bar ends. They look first class and reduce the vibes to almost nothing. Chris |

I drilled out the inner tube just a bit to get the bar end hand guards I used to fit. |

Interesting. I've seen the Vibranators... any other Mfg's??? 110$ is kinda steep for bar ends, even if they are very nice. If anyone knows how to install the ones that came with the kit that would be epic |

any standzrd bar ends will work, but I would go these routes: Throttlemeister- get a throttle lock in the process Oberon- get bar end mirrors and/or turn signals. I have a set of oberon street fighter bar end mirrors in black. Work great. |

I put barbusters on mine (got em at twistedthrottle) They protect my hands and they de-vibe the bars as well. Double-duty. Plus they look badass... |

Has anyone done a back-to-back comparison with the Vibronators and conventional (heavy) bar ends? My CR definitely needs something to quell the vibes. |
