Just completed 2,000 on my bike and the Corsa III rear is all done. Anyone have any feedback on the Pilot Power rear on an 1125 with the stock Corsa III up front? Thanks in advance. |

Make that the Pilot Power 2C. I have been reading some reviews and folk say they are not as sticky as the Diablos but last longer maybe. |

I fitted Pilot Power 2 front and rear 600 miles ago...........wow! what a difference. Always have Pilots on my other two bikes so have loads of confidence in them. Got 6000 ks out of the rear Corsa and there was tread left too especially in the front. But the handling had deteriorated a lot. (Message edited by trafford on May 21, 2010) |

It will handle a little wonky, but you'll get used to it. Then, when the front and rear are done at the same time, you'll put on a matched set of pilots, and the heavens will part, a ray of light will shine down upon you, and all will be good in the world. Or, you can throw the front away, and put on a matched set now. It'll be worth it. R |

The PP is a good tire for street riding. Mixing tires always changes the handling of the bike, but often a very manageable amount, in particular if we are talking ordinary street/sport riding. I'm seeing PP and PP2CT sets for around $215 - $225 delivered, so it might be cost effective enough to go ahead and swap the pair. There's nothing like that new tires feeling on a bike. It's like having a new motorcycle.. |

I agree. Can't wait to slap a new set on. Lasted wayyyyyy longer than the Corsa and didn't square off nearly as much. |

To put it lightly I am not very fond of the corsa IIIs. I put 2cts on my 1125r and I am very pleased with them. I have ran several sets on my XB9 as well. |

So if I change out the rear tire only this time with a perelli rossi instead of the corsa III will the handling be effected or not, tread is almost the exact same and it was supposed to be the replacement for the corsa III's |

So whats the thought on this tire and its wet pavement performance. I have been riding in the rain a lot more and want a tire that has really good wet weather performance. |

I ride in the rain more and more as well. While I am not disappointed by the 2CTs I have been pondering the pilot road 2 as my next tire. Visually they look like they would have even better wet traction. |

Ken, Is $170 the standard price or did you use a promo code? |

It was 200 for the pair, then 10 off for buying two tires, then I used a promo code. I think It was JWCS20 for another 20 bucks off. Free shipping! |

I am putting on the Michelin pilot power set for 197 plus 60 bucks for install this week. I am having a bead problem with the rear Pirelli hopefully its not my rim. Losing 2 lbs. of pressure a day. The Pirelli's are almost gone anyway and I got 4,000 miles out of the rears. This will be my third rear tire and 2nd front. At 8500 miles. Hopefully the Michelin's will get 6000 or more.
