A while back I stumbled across a template (pdf I think) for a Uly tidy tail. I've been searching like crazy and can't seem to find it again. If anyone has it or can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. Thanks |

I've been interested in doing a tidy tail on the Uly myself. Here is what I've found. http://www.routney.com/UlyPlate.html http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142 838/256696.html?1170432566 I hope these help. Looks like the pictures have expired in badweb posting. Sorry (Message edited by Rider2898 on May 10, 2010) |

I made a template for the tail-tidy I did - I'll try this weekend to tidy it up and post it, unless someone comes up with a better one meanwhile?? http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142 838/560795.jpg I like the idea of the seat lock behind the number plate - less chance of it filling with mud.... |

Yool, I like your design too. If you have a template that you can post, that would be great. I have a buddy with a CNC machine that could pound these out for us inmates for pretty cheap. |

I started on mine today, it's just a mock-up out or 16 or 18 guage (can't remember which) I'll bring home what I have for measurements next time I get out to the shop. |

Sorry, not my file. It's been on BadWeb for a while. I believe that it is Treadmarks' drawing- contact him. He said at one time he wouldn't mind sharing CAD files... |

I dismantled the parts over the weekend, and traced them onto a card. A bit rough, but may give you some ideas and dimensions. One of the draftsmen at work has offered to draw them in AUTOCAD this week. If he does it, they should be in "*.dwg" format, suitable for engineering applications.
