A good friend of mine is joining the fold via a used 1999 M2. As the technical adviser for him and the rest of our informal riding group. My question is this: Are there any specific things I should for when inspecting this bike for him? What things are just minor concerns and what things should make him run away screaming? |

just look for the obvious things, leaks and such. listen to the motor real good and make sure she's not tickin funny, i have a 99 and have blown the top end from abuse(mine and the previous owner).otherwise don't pay more than $4500, unless it has a lot of mods(if it's stock you'll end up wanting 2-3K in mods from the get go! rejetted with k&n and a slip on at least,IMO) |
