Does anyone have an old XB clutch cable laying around that I could buy the boot from? I burnt mine on the header because I forgot to tighten the wire retainer. Thanks Guys. |

Find an old bicycle (or truck) inner tube, cut to fit, wrap it around twice, and zip tie it nice and tight. |

Find an old bicycle (or truck) inner tube, cut to fit, wrap it around twice, and zip tie it nice and tight. Make sure there is a bit of slack on the bottom so moisture can drain out. I've seen the bottom water tight and the top slightly lose so water seeps in. Then the adjuster becomes a ball of rust. Of course you will get a new boot with the new cable at that point! |
