Took a trip to Arkansas last weekend. What a blast ! 600 miles through some of the prettiest country I was able to glance up at once in a while ! Last Friday was mostly dry weather with some patchy downpours, but we still hit triple digits speeds. Saturday saw a huge amount of rain, but I still saw triple digits ! Man, the XB was rock solid ! Not the fastest bike there, but I had no trouble holding my own. The way it handled the wet pavement was a suprise, really confidence inspiring. We had six riders, 1 GSXR1000, 1 VFR800, 1 BMW1150GS, 1 R1, and 1 Vstrom. These weren't your normal squid riders, all were experienced sportbike riders with some track time and no strangers to scrubbing the tires from sidewall to sidewall. All were impressed with the Buell. The GSXR rider said "Man, anytime I hear someone running down Buells, I'm gonna tell 'em about this trip ! I'm really impressed that you stayed with us !" What a hoot ! |

Arkansas is one of the best kept riding secrets in the United States. Arkansas also, remind me to tell you some day, plays a bit of a role in Buell history. |

Thats gonna be the name of the book "Remind Me to Tell You Someday..." If an biography of Hunter S Thompson can be made I think one could be made of Court. I know quite a few of us that would be willing to read it
